Review on _Push_

In my opinion I don't really like the book because there are a lot of disturbing things that happen to the character Precious Jones. She has two babies by her dad and her mom molests her. It's sad that it really happens to some people. A good thing that happens in the book is that she tries to to better by going to school.
I BELIEVE THIS BOOK SHOULD ONLY BE READ BY PEOPLE WHO ARE THE AGE OF 17 AND UP!

Sex Class - STDs

When an STD is asymptomatic it means that it doesnt show any signs or disorder even though they have a disease.
*Being sexually active
*Having more than one sexual partner
*Having a sexual partner who has had multiple sexual partners
*Using alcohol or drugs
Are 4 things that put teens at a higher risk of catching an STD.
I think it's easier for teens between the ages of 15 - 19 to catch an STD than it is for older people who are between the ages of 30 -34 because their hormones are barely starting to kick in and kind of makes them crave for sex.
Females catch STDs faster than guys because it goes inside of them and on a male it stays on the outside of them.
*Where a condom
*Get tested regularly
*Stay with one partner
*Make sure he/she gets tested before having sex to make sure they are clean
Are 4 ways you can protect yourself from getting an STD.

*Persepolis*

I think the way the author wrote the book was very interesting. I would recommend this book to teens because it's an easier way for them to understand a part in history and how it happens. I have never read a graphic novel but it was a good and new way to read a book. In my own eyes I think the book was better than the movie because there was a lot of things that were left out from the book. Some of them I think were important.

Biology: Basking Shark

The basking shark is a cartilaginous fish. This shark is a coastal - palegic shark. It is found in all the world's temperate oceans. The basking shark is a generally harmless filter feeder. It filters zooplankton, small fish, and invertebrates. Basking sharks are ovoviviparous, meaning that animals develop within eggs that remain within the mother's body up until they hatch or are about to hatch. They have only caught one baskin shark that was pregnant and she was carrying six unborn. This is one of the largest known sharks, second only to the whale shark. A basking shark was measured and its total length was 12.27 meters (40.3 ft.) and was estimated to weigh around 19 tons.
